RIVERSIDE, Mo. -- A municipal court hearing for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Dwayne Bowe on speeding and marijuana possession citations has been rescheduled. Bowes lawyers, Kevin E.J. Regan, said through legal assistant Jennifer Purvis that the hearing has been moved from Wednesday to Jan. 22. Purvis says the office doesnt plan to comment further. Police in the Kansas City suburb of Riverside said Bowe was driving about 48 mph in a 35 mph zone when he was stopped Nov. 10. Police said an officer smelled "a strong odour of marijuana from inside of the vehicle" and found two containers holding what the officer suspected was marijuana. Bowe previously apologized in a statement "for the distraction." Chiefs coach Andy Reid has said he intends to let the legal situation run its course. "I played aggressively. I can improve my serve. I had some double faults again, so I can still improve." That might be hard for Zakopalova to believe. Kvitova won 53 of the 76 points in the match. Zakopalova earned only three points in the second set before holding serve and closing to 5-1 with her only game win. She finished with 10 points in the set. Kvitova ended things on her serve, striking an ace on the final point. "She just played fantastic tennis today without any mistakes," Zakopalova said. "I think everything was working for her, so I have to just congratulate her, wish her good luck because she was the better player today, for sure."
